BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Type trezor.io/start into your browser yourself. Check the address carefully before downloading Trezor Suite or following setup links.

CONNECT YOUR DEVICE

Install official software

Use the download linked from the official Trezor setup page. Connect your device directly and follow only the instructions shown in Trezor Suite and on its screen.

Ignore unsolicited links, ads, and direct messages offering “support.”

BACK UP OFFLINE

Write your recovery phrase by hand

Your device may show recovery words during wallet creation. Write them on the supplied backup material and keep them somewhere private and offline.

Never type your recovery words into a computer or phone. No website, app, support agent, or this guide should ask you to share them.

FINISH WITH CARE

Choose a private PIN

If your device offers a PIN, set it on the device itself. Verify the backup using the device’s own prompts, then store it separately from your hardware wallet.

If anything feels unexpected, stop and use official Trezor support.
